Artist

Alexandre Delay
Swiss artist born in 1941 in Assens, he devoted himself to painting in the 1960s. His vocation for art is defined as "one does not become a painter in front of a beautiful landscape, but in front of a beautiful painting".
He defines his art through four affects:
- Painting
- Engraving
- Photography
- Naked women
He works around the concept of nudity, but seeks to go beyond the nudity of the model. This idea is found in particular in his paintings, the paintings are not framed in order to see them naked as the models present on his works.
