Allan Stephens is a French-English figurative artist born in the suburbs of London in 1970. He paints his environment and seeks to represent what surrounds him in his paintings. Although his style has evolved over the years, it has always remained figurative.
With more than 20 years of experience, Allan has organized numerous exhibitions in France and abroad. He has recently published 2 art books: the first in 2017 regrouping 80 paintings done during his tour in Normandy, the second in 2020 regrouping 52 paintings representing La Rochelle. During the pandemic, he painted 50 inhabitants of Villeneuve-les-Salines, all of them volunteers. He had only made sketches at first, but during the containment, he painted all these faces. This initiative was launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city.
