Painter from Oleron, granddaughter of an oyster farmer and fisherman. Christelle is fascinated by the islands of Charente.

In 2009, she discovered the private collection of Aboriginal paintings of her Australian historian and writer friend Peter Grose. This meeting was a revelation that will initiate her artistic journey.

From this ancestral art, Christelle chooses to keep only the point. She impregnates her works with movement, musicality, mineral nuances and invites us to a graphic reading of her maritime environment: between clearings and salt flats, fish locks and a stormy horizon.

"The earth vibrates, the colors dance and the surface undulates.
