Born in Zimbabwe in 1988, she started making art at a very early age with her first exhibition in 2008 entitled "We still have the sun". Helen graduated from the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town, South Africa, and also holds a Master's degree in Visual Art from IUAV University in Venice.

She researches her work through long hikes and expeditions involving archaeological digs.

Her work has a strong influence of Zimbabwean culture, especially with the country's historical conflicts and transcends politics, origin and gender. These points are the basis of her works in which she seeks to share the vision of a reconciliation for humanity.
