Laurence Cherade
Laurence Cherade, an artist with a passion for the coastline of northwest France, has captured her childhood fascination with the sea in the WAVES 2023 project. Her paintings pay homage to the sea in all its wildness and beauty, exploring themes of danger and rebellion.
After studying at the Beaux-Arts, Cherade perfected her art by exploring miniaturist painting, still lifes and hyper-realistic animal painting in 2021/2022. Today, she devotes herself to large-format seascapes, where precision and attention to detail combine to create captivating works that invite meticulous exploration.
