Spanish painter, Javier started at the age of 14 in his father's workshop where he learned the basics of painting. At the age of 21, he started to paint the sea, the waves and the city in a realistic style. These elements require an important work on the light and its reflection. The paintings on the waves represent an important challenge because they are constantly in movement which must be transcribed on the canvas.
He paints his canvases by realizing color by color and layer by layer thus superposing the different lights for a realistic rendering. Since his first exhibitions in 2002, Javier has exhibited all over the world, the most recent one being dedicated to surfers.
